Today.

Today after weeks of contemplation decided to start my blog. Its super bowl sunday today. Anyways, I started my communication studies class 3 weeks ago. When my teacher was talking about all the different cultures and how different places had different manners and the different ways cultures conducted themselves, I started to think. I love to travel, I love new things, I love photography, ummm why have I never thought about this before? I AM GOING TO BE A TRAVELING PHOTOGRAPHER! There are no ifs, ands or buts about it! It has everything I want to do. I would be able to travel the world, meet many different people, live life outside of the American bubble, be able to bring emotions to people in photography, do portraits and landscaping around the world. I couldnt ask for anything better. So I did some research into this. A ton of people say it is hard to get into this field, but I know with practice I will be an amazing photographer, maybe even open up my own gallery like my favorite Peter Lik. Peter Lik is a master photographer who has photos that take my breath away. He's pretty much my photographer idol. 2 years ago I was in Las Vegas and I gravitate to any photography but his, I couldn't even be pulled out of the store. I stared at every picture in amazement. My boyfriend was amazed but after so long he was ready to go. I told him I wanted a small photo of his for about $800. Clearly at age 18, he looked at me like I was crazy. When I get rich I will have his photography up in my house, not the small on but the big one that takes up a wall! Ghost is one of my favorites. Anyways he's my idol and I want to travel like him. But I also love portraits. I love to see in magazines different parts of the world and how they live, and I would be able to show that through my photography. The good and the bad. I want to work for national geographic. I looked into internships and I can only get an internship if I need it for college credit! So I will apply in one year. Anyways so this post was just about letting you know I will be a traveling photographer after I master in photography and maybe after fashion design.... but thats pushing it! Well have a great day!
